Account Executive

Sales Responsibilities:

  • Manage sales pipeline and forecasting in a sales automation system.
  • Conduct online software demonstrations
  • Explain complex topics effectively
  • Conduct contract negotiations
  • Develop prospect list by locating & qualifying new leads
  • Maintain established customer base, while identifying new customers
  • Developing new business through prospecting and cold calls
  • Immediately follow up sales campaigns with sales calls until completion of contacts
  • Meet individual and team sales budget

Qualifications:

  • A minimum two years of inside sales experience specifically demonstrating and selling software
  • Telemarketing and phone sales experience necessary
  • Strong web application sales experience
  • History of meeting and exceeding revenue targets
  • Understanding of the government affairs
  • Experience in government relations or government a plus
  • Effective written communication skills
  • Application Service Provided, B2B experience a plus
  • Salesforce.com experience a plus
  • Ability to handle several tasks simultaneously
  • Attention to detail
  • Professional demeanor
  • Customer service oriented
  • Bachelors degree required
